First introduced over 15 years ago, the original Crest rim design with BST helped launch the tubeless revolution. Today’s Crest S2 wheels offer quick and easy inflation, the legendary airtight seal, and a 25mm width that offers incredible stability for 40mm to 2.3″ Gravel and XC tires.

Constructed of 6061 aluminum with a reinforced spoke bed and eyeletted spoke holes for strength, the Crest S2 rim is built to last. The wheelset also features fast-engaging E-sync hubs built to handle the added weight and forces of eBikes and more aggressive riders. Thanks to cromoly axles, heat treated steel ratchet rings, double row Enduro bearings, and a pawl design that reduces stress on bearings, E-sync hubs are made to roll smoother longer.

The E-sync’s four pawls also provide quick 8.18° of engagement. S2 wheelsets with E-sync hubs are perfect for anyone looking for low maintenance and high performance. Like all Stan’s wheels, the Crest S2 carries on a tradition of serviceability by using traditional J-bend spokes that are readily available.

To make life even easier, matched Crest S2 wheelsets all use a single spoke length and their endcaps are readily available and compatible with previous Neo hubs.

The Crest S2 is an ideal replacement or upgrade for Gravel and XC bikes.

Rear wheels are available with Shimano Micro Spline, HG, or SRAM XDR freehub, and 6-bolt brake style, with options to fit all popular axle configurations.
